The CHSL 2026 notice says a pre-existing photograph is not required because the application module captures the candidate's photo live. Do not capture a photo of an old printed photograph. - Sign clearly on plain white paper. Keep the signature large enough to read — not blurred and not miniature.
- Open the CHSL signature preset above, upload the signature photo/scan and set it inside the frame.
- Download the JPEG and confirm it is between 10 KB and 20 KB before uploading it on ssc.gov.in or the mySSC app.
What is the CHSL 2026 photo rule?
The photograph is captured live by the application module. Use good light and a plain background, keep the camera at eye level, look straight ahead, and do not wear a cap, mask or glasses/spectacles while capturing it.
What are the important dates?
Online applications: 7 Sep 2026 to 7 Oct 2026 (11:00 PM). Online fee payment: till 8 Oct 2026 (11:00 PM). Correction window: 14–16 Oct 2026 (11:00 PM), with correction charges as per the notice.
